He began his career in the IT world in 1990 at Grupo Steria, and later joined Siemens Nixdorf as the director of the IT Consulting Unit for Financial Industry. He served as the director of Siemens' IT services business for Latin America and was the technical lead on the founding team of e-xtendnow, a Siemens subsidiary and one of the first European startups in the web presence and security camp. In 2006, he joined Banco Sabadell (Spain), serving in various roles such as Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information Officer, and Chief Operating Officer.
